Role Overview:

- Cashfree Payments is looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director - Product Compliance to strengthen its Risk &

Compliance function;

- Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, this role will be responsible for ensuring that Cashfree's products remain fully compliant with card network guidelines at all times.

- The role requires close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, as well as active engagement with card networks and ecosystem partners, to proactively identify, address, and resolve compliance-related gaps.

What You Will Do:

- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to embed network compliance into product design, development, and releases.

- Ensure continuous compliance with guidelines issued by Visa, Mastercard, NPCI, and other relevant payment networks

- Act as the primary point of contact for card networks on product compliance matters.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Visa, Mastercard, NPCI, and relevant ecosystem partners to jointly identify and resolve compliance concerns.

- Interpret network circulars, mandates, and translate them into clear product and technical requirements.

- Drive remediation plans for identified compliance gaps and track closure in coordination with internal stakeholders.

- Support audits, assessments, and reviews related to product and network compliance.

- Provide advisory inputs to business and product teams on risk, compliance implications of new products or enhancements.

- Proactively identify emerging compliance risks and recommend process or product-level improvements.

What You Will Need:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are a plus.

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in product compliance roles within fintechs, banks, payment aggregators, or card networks.

- Strong hands-on experience managing relationships with Visa, Mastercard, and NPCI.

- Solid understanding of card network rules and compliance requirements applicable to digital payments in India.

- Proven experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to interpret network guidelines and convert them into actionable product and process requirements.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Hands-on experience in the payments domain is mandatory
