JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT The Strategic Marketing and Technology Lead will lead the team that provides technical applications support and will oversee local technology application centers. This role remains an integral part of our commercial system and will direct the development and implementation of long term strategic plans for business growth in close partnership with Commercial Teams and Pricing, driven by market insights and data. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Will be managing a diversified portfolio in the Animal Nutrition and Health space ranging from animal feed, nutrition and health portfolios whilst also providing solutions that would develop livelihoods of dairy, aqua and poultry farmers to strategic feed millers across the country - This role gives an opportunity to the incumbent to be contribute towards a growth business that has a compelling vision in a journey to be a market leader - This position will be responsible to manage a diversified portfolio of Species and customer segmentations and would need to periodically review and identify priority species and segments for the market to grow margin and volume - Will proactively capture market insights and understand emerging customer needs and in-market competition - Understand new technologies relating to the Nutrition and Health space and support deployment to customers, ensure technology is adapted to the market in the best interest of the consumers - Plan product launches, including 7Ps - price/value targets, positioning, promotion, and manage product launch budgets - Create Value by developing our NPSS (New Product Solutions and Services) pipeline/budget aligned with strategic priorities - Lead the design, development and implementation of marketing programs, update customer segmentation to ensure the business competitiveness - Manage a team of R&D and external research/SME partnerships to enable future growth - Drive technology resource allocation and research trials, implementing strategic marketing plans into technology priorities - Collaborate with the sales leaders to ensure portfolios deliver value to the customer - Collaborate with sourcing and manufacturing teams to ensure that the business has the capability to formulate and produce needed offerings - Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Management Degree in a related field or equivalent experience - 10 years of related work experience with three years of supervisory experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in an animal nutrition, health industry is preferred KEY BEHAVIORS - Create new and better ways for the organization to be successful - Should have a passion to continuously learn more about the animal nutrition industry and the emerging trends - Customer Driven , Fosters Inclusion, Cultivates innovation, demonstrates agility, thrives and appreciates working in collaboration, and is results driven - Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions - Apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
