Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate NxtWave's brand and drive demand generation.
- Spearhead both ATL and BTL marketing initiatives to reach diverse audiences effectively.
- Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on marketing trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Brand Management:
- Shape and protect the NxtWave brand, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Oversee the creation and deployment of impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
- Utilize market research and data analytics to refine messaging and positioning.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Build cross-functional collaboration within the marketing team and with other departments.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics to drive accountability and success within the team.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget with a focus on frugal thinking and maximizing ROI.
- Optimize resource allocation across various marketing channels to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget.
Integrated Campaign Execution:
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Leverage both digital and traditional media to create cohesive and compelling marketing efforts.
- Continuously test, measure, and refine campaigns to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay ahead of market trends and shifts in the EdTech sector to keep NxtWave competitive.
- Conduct thorough analysis of competitors' marketing strategies and adjust NxtWave's approach accordingly.
- Utilize insights from data and analytics to guide marketing decisions and strategy.
- Problem Solving and Innovation
- Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, identifying innovative solutions that drive growth.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, where new ideas and approaches are tested and adopted.
- Promote frugal thinking, ensuring that all marketing efforts are both effective and cost-efficient.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on ATL and BTL activities.
- Proven track record of driving growth and brand success within the EdTech or similar sectors.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Mastery of digital marketing, brand management, and integrated campaign execution.
- Frugal thinker with a passion for optimizing resources to achieve maximum impact.
Location: Hyderabad (Office-based work)
Candidate's Personna:
- Senior level person (Associate director, Director, AVP, VP, Head of Marketing etc.)
- Should have worked in a new-age category creation company (includes D2C)
- Experience should be marketing heavy rather than branding heavy
- The product should inherently require a distribution setup, ensuring experience in managing distributed marketing operations. For example, companies like Lenskart, Pharmeasy, Homelane, and Ola have strong distribution-driven models.
- In terms of ATL BTL split - ~50-50
- Industry should require frugality rather than unaccounted spend
- Should have worked on "Must have" products
- Preferably premium product
- Should have handled 100 Cr+ of revenue generation
- 10+ years of experience in marketing
- Operator experience in marketing rather than consulting experience
- Gender: Male; Age preference: <40
- Relevant company examples: Lenkskart, Phareasy, Homelane, Ola, Wakefit etc.
