CARE Analytics and Advisory Pvt. Ltd. (CAAPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of CARE Ratings Ltd.,- a leading consultancy firm specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) advisory services.

We work with diverse industries to enhance sustainability, manage risks, and drive positive impact. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a seasoned professional to join with a focus on ESG/Sustainability advisory services.

Position: Director

Position Purpose:

- Role requires the person to lead ESG consulting in BFSI sector, comprising Banks, Insurance companies, asset managers, AIF/Private Equities

- The position expects person to deliver high quality solutions to clients at the same time support in sourcing business by leveraging industry connects

- The role requires candidate to work in environment with diversity of work, and someone who embraces to work both independently and in teams.

- The role requires the candidate to demonstrate the high degree of problem-solving capacity and ability to come up with innovative solutions

- Strong knowledge on concepts like ESG, climate change, physical risks and transition risks, climate scenarios, ESG score cards, reporting standards and TCFD/IFRS S2 reporting

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of ESG consulting services to BFSI sector, such as climate change physical and transition risks assessment, TCFD reporting, financed emission, development of ESMS, climate policy framework, developing ESG score cards, conducting impact assessment

- Developing proposals, engaging with clients, support in sourcing business for the execution

- Participation in various ESG forums, publishing articles on various emerging topics

- Build relationships with clients through supporting account management and project delivery

- Person should be hands on execution skills with minimal intervention from others

Skill set required:

- Strong domain knowledge on Sustainability, leading practices and regulations

- Strong understanding of ESG aspects in Banking, Insurance, AIF/PE and Asset Management sectors

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Excellent in making impactful presentations

- Intermediate to advance level Microsoft Excel and Word skills

- Ability to multi task. Should be able to lead multiple projects and deliverables

- Ability to work Independently or within group as per project requirements

Education and Experience:

- CA or MBA finance from reputed institute

- Additional certifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Change or related discipline would be a plus

- Preferably 15+ years of experience in Banking, Insurance or AIFs/Private Equity space would be preferred.
