Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a seasoned professional to join with a focus on ESG/Sustainability advisory services. Position: Assistant Director - EHS & ESG Due Diligence. Position Purpose: - Role requires the person to lead ESG deliverables on due diligence and related advisory services and support the relationship teams. - The role requires candidate to work in environment with diversity of work, and someone who embraces to work both independently and in teams. - The role requires the candidate to demonstrate the high degree of problem-solving capacity and ability to come up with innovative solutions. - Strong knowledge on concepts like ESG, EHS, climate change, ESG reporting standards, regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Support and lead the delivery of onsite compliance audits covering topics such as environment, health and safety. - Support and lead the delivery of services such as environmental, EHS and/or ESG due diligence. This may include site inspections: - Support project managers, including completion of proposals and budgeting. - Project management experience will be seen as desirable. - Analyse, and interpret technical information to understand and articulate commercial consequences. - Build relationships with clients through supporting account management and project delivery. - Act as a technical advisor/leader for consultancy projects for corporate clients across a variety of sectors focusing on such topics as environmental, health & safety and ESG. - A sound understanding in Indian regulations which govern environmental and health & safety issues. - Ensure quality and timely delivery of project outputs within the budget. - Help develop proposals for clients, including methodological approach and description of tasks and budgets. Skill set required: - Strong domain knowledge on Sustainability, leading practices and regulations. - Strong knowledge on international due diligence framework, such as IFC and ADB. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal). - Intermediate to advance level Microsoft Excel and PPT skills. - Ability to multi task. - Should be able to lead multiple projects and deliverables. - Ability to work Independently or within group as per project requirements. Education and Experience: - Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change, Chemical Sciences or related discipline. - Preferably 8-10 years of experience in consulting sectors, familiar with environmental and/or health and safety advisory.
