We are hiring a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon (CVTS) for a reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Godhra, Gujarat. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and performing surgical interventions related to diseases of the heart, lungs, chest, and vascular system while ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring cardiovascular and thoracic surgical treatment.
- Perform surgeries related to heart, lungs, chest cavity, great vessels, and associated organs.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and formulate treatment plans.
- Provide post-operative care, monitor patient recovery, and manage complications if any.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, pulmonologists, and other specialists.
- Participate in emergency surgeries and critical care management when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes, and patient documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, quality standards, and infection control practices.
- Guide junior medical staff, residents, and nursing teams in patient management.
- Stay updated with advancements in cardiac and thoracic surgery techniques and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery.
- MCh / DNB in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration with relevant medical council.
- 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in CVTS.
Desired Skills:
- Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills.
- Experience in handling cardiac bypass, valve surgeries, thoracic procedures, and vascular surgeries preferred.
- Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
