We are looking for a highly skilled and patient-focused Cardiologist to join our healthcare team. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. From an interviewers perspective, we are looking for someone with strong clinical judgment, hands-on expertise, and a patient-first approach, capable of handling both routine and critical cardiac cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter monitoring, and cardiac imaging
- Manage patients in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings
- Provide treatment plans including medications, lifestyle management, and interventional recommendations
- Handle cardiac emergencies such as acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrest, and arrhythmias
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Perform or assist in interventional procedures (angiography, angioplasty) if applicable
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols accordingly
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans, risks, and preventive care
- Participate in clinical discussions, audits, and continuous medical education
