Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiologist to join our expanding team in Uttarakhand/Uttar Pradesh. As a Cardiologist at Maven, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various cardiovascular diseases. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, contributing significantly to improving the cardiac health of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as ECGs and echocardiograms, to accurately diagnose cardiac conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various cardiovascular diseases, ensuring adherence to evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
- Perform and interpret non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation, to effectively treat cardiac conditions.
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care, including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and cardiac rehabilitation, to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiac surgeons, nurses, and technicians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuing medical education and research activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiology and contribute to the improvement of cardiac care practices.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to other healthcare providers on complex cardiac cases, enhancing the overall quality of cardiac care within the organization.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
- Proven expertise in performing and interpreting non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, angiography, and angioplasty.
- Strong understanding of cardiac pharmacology and ability to manage medications effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Cardiology is mandatory.
- Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology or Electrophysiology is preferred.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- 0-6 years of experience in Cardiology.
