Role Overview :
The Client Lead is a quota-carrying individual contributor role responsible for driving advertising and performance revenue from Bike OEM accounts. This is a pure sales role - you own the number. You will be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities across BikeDekho's product suite, building and maintaining OEM client and agency relationships, and closing multi-product mandates that deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.
What You Will Sell :
- Display Advertising - Brand campaign inventory across BikeDekho web, app, and partner network
- Lead Generation Products - High-intent buyer enquiries delivered to OEM dealer networks at CPL pricing
- Cost Per Sale (CPS) - Performance-based model where OEMs pay only on confirmed vehicle sales attributed to BikeDekho
- Content Solutions - Sponsored editorial, model reviews, comparison content, influencer amplification, and launch campaign support
- Tech & Data Products - Data layering, audience targeting, dealer-level attribution dashboards, and co-branded tech integrations
Key Responsibilities :
Revenue Generation :
- Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across an assigned portfolio of Bike OEM accounts
- Identify and close new revenue opportunities through structured cross-sell and up-sell of BikeDekho's product suite
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Develop and present customized solution proposals aligned to OEM objectives
Client & Agency Relationship Management :
- Own senior-level relationships at OEM marketing, digital, and regional teams - not just day to-day contacts
- Navigate multi-stakeholder OEM environments including central marketing, digital heads, regional managers, and procurement teams
- Manage concurrent relationships with media agencies (GroupM, Dentsu, Publicis, Madison etc.) that control OEM media spends
- Ensure timely renewals, budget expansions, and proactive relationship management to protect and grow existing revenue
Commercial Execution :
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, product packaging, contractual terms, and campaign commitments
- Provide accurate revenue forecasts and pipeline updates on a weekly basis
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B digital ad sales or media sales with a consistent track record of quota attainment
- Demonstrated ability to close deals independently - from prospecting to signed PO - without heavy management support
- Comfort navigating complex multi-stakeholder sales environments including agency and
client-side decision-makers simultaneously
Strongly Preferred :
- Familiarity with performance-based pricing models
- Experience selling multi-product bundles - ability to architect a solution across advertising, leads, and content in a single mandate
Good to Have :
- Understanding of digital analytics, audience targeting, and campaign attribution tools
- Exposure to tech or data product sales in a media / publisher context
- MBA from a recognized institution
