CapitalSquare - Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Non Motor/Non EB Placements & Underwriting

- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Non-Motor / Non-EB Placements & Underwriting to join our high-performing team.

- This role is ideal for professionals who have strong experience in corporate insurance placements (Non-Motor/Non-EB lines) and underwriting.

- The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating client risk gaps, preparing insurance proposals, managing policy placements, and ensuring seamless client servicing post-placement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Suggest appropriate insurance covers and policies to address client risk exposures and coverage gaps

- Prepare customized quotes and broking slips for Non-Motor / Non-EB lines (e.g., Property, Marine, Engineering, Liability, etc.)

- Negotiate with insurers for competitive pricing, terms, and discounts

- Float placement slips across the insurance market and obtain the best possible terms for clients

- Manage client servicing across the policy lifecycle - including:

- PRE-policy servicing: data gathering, quote analysis, proposal finalization

- POST-policy servicing: endorsements, additions/deletions, and sum insured adjustments

- Coordinate with insurers to arrange surveyor deputation in case of reported losses

- Perform detailed quality checks on policies post-placement to ensure 100% accuracy of terms and coverage

- Analyze existing insurance programs, identify risk gaps, and prepare portfolio review reports for client presentations

- Maintain strong working relationships with insurance partners and underwriters for optimal turnaround and support

- Ensure timely delivery of documents, follow-ups, and client communication with high attention to detail

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3-7 years of relevant experience in Non-Motor / Non-EB insurance placement, underwriting, or broking

- Solid understanding of general insurance products including Property, Marine, Engineering, Liability, etc.

- Strong client servicing and policy lifecycle management skills

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities

- Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (clients, insurers, surveyors) with professionalism and timeliness

- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
