Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and expand our Investor Relations and Debt Syndication vertical. The Deputy Vice President will play a key role in building and deepening relationships with domestic debt investors, facilitating capital raising across products including structured debt, NCDs, securitisation, and private credit, and supporting overall investor engagement initiatives.

This role is central to our distribution strategy and requires a blend of strong relationship management, deal execution experience, and a strategic understanding of capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- The Deputy Vice President (DVP) - Debt Syndication will be a key leader in the debt capital markets team, responsible for structuring, negotiating, and executing debt syndication transactions.

- The role requires expertise in managing relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, and financial institutions, while driving revenue growth and ensuring successful deal closures.

- Lead the syndication and placement of debt products including NCDs, structured credit, securitized instruments, and bespoke private placements.

- Maintain and expand relationships with a wide range of institutional debt investors - including mutual funds, family offices, NBFCs, insurance companies, AIFs, HNIs, and banks.

- Work closely with the origination and structuring teams to understand transaction specifics and tailor investor outreach accordingly.

- Manage end-to-end syndication activities - from deal marketing, roadshows, and investor negotiations to closure and documentation.

- Develop and maintain a dynamic investor CRM and ensure timely communication, updates, and feedback loops.

- Assist in preparing investor presentations, pitch decks, term sheets, and fund-raising materials.

- Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and relevant industry forums.

- Track and analyze market trends, investor appetite, and pricing benchmarks to guide internal pricing and structuring decisions.

Candidate Profile:

- 8-11 years of experience in debt syndication, investor relations, or capital markets, preferably with an investment bank, NBFC, or AIF.

- Strong investor network across domestic debt capital markets.

- Deep understanding of credit products, risk-return dynamics, and debt structuring.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

- Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable handling multiple deals and investor conversations in parallel.

- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
