Our Capital One India HR Operations and Risk team is on a mission to enable game-changing business results by providing programs and solutions that improve the associate and candidate experience. We create and enable scalable and efficient people practices. We are looking for Director, HR Operations and Risk to lead our dynamic and growing team, where you will be pivotal in shaping & iterating our vision, strategic roadmap and on how HR partners & teams not only in India but across the enterprise interact and deliver together to drive meaningful advancements on our top priority work. You will partner across key enterprise HR & HR lines of business teams to drive clarity of accountability, transparency and enable decision-making informed by the right data, insights, and leadership perspective, as well as governance to monitor progress, emerging needs, and risks. The routines, products, and practices you lead will drive actionable focus on top priorities, thoughtfully sequence work for maximum impact, and ensure efficient delivery within bandwidth and on budget.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement HR Operations and Risk strategy that aligns with enterprise initiative, local requirements, and business needs
- Lead and evolve key aspects of the broader HR leadership delivery model during a time of rapid growth and expansion
- Oversee & simplify delivery of key HR operations and end to end shared-services, information sharing products, and practices for highest leverage in advancing work on our HR priorities and ongoing effective governance & management practices
- Partner closely with HR leaders to reimagine, stand up, and drive integrated delivery structures
- Seek & respond to needs, sentiment, and usage of our products, routines, and practices in a highly customer-driven way. Monitor, iterate, and drive continual enhancements according to data & insights
- Generate excitement about and lead through the changes that will come with evolving HR's delivery model to advance our HR priorities
- Be a compelling influencer to gain acceptance of changes & drive desired behaviors
- Serve as a key people leader, fostering a trusting, inclusive, and collaborative work environment, and with strong commitment to talent development
- Support the effective onboarding of new HR leaders by accelerating their understanding of how to get decisions made and advance work
- Collaborate with a broad set of partners, and develop & leverage relationships with key internal stakeholders across HR lines of business and eHR teams
- Be motivated to respond to evolving business needs and new leader and associate insights, shifting strategies, roadmaps, and tactics throughout the year as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 18 years of Human Resources OR at least 18 years of Project Management experience OR at least 18 years of Process Management experience
- At least 7 years of People Leadership experience
- 18+ years of experience in Human Resources, including experience in an HR client-facing role
- 10+ years of experience in Program/Portfolio Management
- Strong functional and technical acumen of global HR programs including compensation, performance management, and leadership development
- Experience with coaching managers on complex people matters and supporting them in strengthening their leadership skills
- Proven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams to deliver a consistent employee experience
- Master's Degree in Business (MBA) or Master's Degree in Human Resources
