Capital Markets Associate - FinTech Startup - CA/CFA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Job Description :

We are currently retained by a growing fintech startup to hire an Associate for the debt capital market for them. This role requires the ability to independently drive and close capital partnerships with NBFCs, banks, and family offices.

The candidate must possess a strong grasp of financial concepts like direct assignment, PTCs, loan syndication, working capital, term loans, and security structures. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging decision-makers, managing investor relations, and representing the company to optimize brand value.

Key Responsibilities :

- Partner with startups and SMEs to understand their funding needs and structure the right debt solutions.

- Own the deal lifecycle end-to-end-from client acquisition and financial assessment to lender coordination and disbursement.

- Build trusted relationships with founders, CXOs, and lending partners.

- Drive deal execution, negotiations, documentation, and portfolio management.

- Ensure seamless stakeholder coordination and maintain strong process discipline.

To fit the bill, you must have :

- 4+ years of experience in lending, credit, debt advisory, corporate banking, or structured finance.

- Strong expertise in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and deal execution.

- CA, CFA, or MBA from a Tier-1 institution.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Tech-savvy professional comfortable leveraging AI and digital tools to drive efficiency.
