Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our renewable energy team. The role will support financial planning, project evaluation, investment analysis, and reporting for solar, wind, and other clean energy projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modelling, and an interest in advancing sustainability through renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis for renewable energy projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies, EBIDTA, NPV, IRR, PAT, return on investment (ROI), and cost-benefit analysis for solar, wind, hydro, and other clean energy projects.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance against targets.
- Support due diligence, project financing, and valuation for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, financial reports, and presentations for management and investors.
- Analyze market trends, renewable energy policies, tariffs, and carbon credits to assess financial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure financial viability of projects.
- Provide input into funding strategies including debt, equity, and government incentives.
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives in the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in Financial Analysis / Financial Modelling, preferably in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of project finance, renewable energy incentives, PPA (Power Purchase Agreements), and carbon markets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
