Job Summary:

This role suits a professional with 12+ years of combined industry and consulting experience in consumer goods and retail (Mainly in Transportation), serving Indian and global clients. You will lead strategic consulting projects, drive business transformation, and manage client relationships to deliver growth and operational excellence across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and deliver strategic consulting engagements across the Transportation & Logistics value chain for Indian and global clients.

- Advise clients on business transformation initiatives, including operating model design, process optimization, and digital transformation.

- Drive growth, cost optimization, and operational excellence across transportation planning, logistics operations, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain functions.

- Build and manage strong client relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring successful project outcomes.

- Lead business development activities by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, participating in client pitches, and contributing to revenue growth.

- Develop industry-specific solutions, thought leadership, and market insights related to Transportation, Logistics, Consumer Goods, and Retail sectors.

- Manage multiple consulting projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

- Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

- Drive adoption of emerging technologies, analytics, automation, AI, and digital platforms to improve business performance and customer experience.

- Conduct market assessments, benchmarking studies, network optimization, and supply chain transformation programs.

- Collaborate with internal practices and ecosystem partners to develop innovative solutions and accelerate business outcomes for clients.

- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to provide strategic recommendations to clients.

- Ensure project profitability, resource utilization, risk management, and compliance with organizational governance standards.

- Support capability building by developing consulting methodologies, frameworks, and knowledge assets within the T&L practice.

- Contribute to organizational growth by strengthening client portfolios and expanding the Transportation & Logistics consulting business.

Required Qualifications:

- 12+ years of combined industry and consulting experience in Transportation, Logistics, Consumer Goods, and Retail.

- Strong understanding of supply chain, transportation management, logistics operations, distribution networks, and warehouse management.

- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation and consulting engagements.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

- Experience working with both Indian and global clients across diverse markets.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Essential Skills and Experience:
