Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as a Capex Regulatory & Compliance specialist. In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between our capital expenditure projects and the complex regulatory frameworks that govern them. You will work closely with project managers, finance controllers, and external regulatory bodies to ensure that every investment aligns with statutory requirements and internal governance policies. By maintaining rigorous oversight of project documentation and financial reporting, you will directly influence the company's risk mitigation strategy and ensure the seamless execution of high-value infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the end-to-end compliance lifecycle for capital projects to ensure adherence to local and international regulatory standards and internal financial controls.

- Collaborate with project finance teams to audit project documentation, ensuring all capital expenditures are accurately classified and compliant with tax and regulatory mandates.

- Manage communication with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate timely inspections and resolve compliance queries, thereby safeguarding the organization's legal standing.

- Develop and implement robust monitoring frameworks to track project milestones against regulatory timelines, minimizing the risk of financial penalties or operational delays.

- Provide strategic advisory to senior leadership regarding the impact of changing regulatory landscapes on ongoing and future Capex investments to ensure long-term fiscal health.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Capex lifecycles and navigating the intricacies of project finance within large-scale organizational structures.

- Proven ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines to financial operations, ensuring high levels of accuracy and ethical compliance.

- Strong analytical capabilities to identify potential compliance gaps and design proactive solutions that align with business objectives.

- A professional degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by 2 - 6 years of experience in a high-stakes corporate environment.
