Capex Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

- The Capex Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing and procurement of capital equipment, machinery, infrastructure, and project-related services.

- The role ensures cost optimization, vendor excellence, compliance with procurement policies, and timely delivery of capex assets. The manager will work closely with engineering, finance, and project teams to align procurement strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end procurement for CAPEX items including equipment, plant machinery, construction, utilities, and project services.

- Develop vendor strategy, identify new suppliers, conduct RFQs/RFPs, and drive competitive bidding.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, SLAs, and long-term contracts.

- Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory norms.

- Coordinate with engineering, projects, finance, and senior leadership for approval workflows.

- Manage vendor evaluation, onboarding, performance tracking, and relationship management.

- Prepare cost estimates, CAPEX budgets, and savings reports for management review.

- Monitor delivery timelines, installation schedules, and ensure timely project execution.

- Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across procurement processes.
