Procurement of material and services for Printing related Capital Equipment - namely Pre-press,  Press and Mailroom; including imported and domestic spares, software, regular upgrades and cameras.   Floating RFQ based on user requirement/technological preference and Techno-Commercial evaluation.   Monitoring the spend of Capital Expenditure with the objective of meeting user requirements in a timely manner.   Project requirement based on Production forecast. Liason with internal and external customers for technical specification, finance/Forex requirement, Logistics, Delivery Custom clearing & Insurance.  Develop, refine the strategy note, obtain approval of Deputy Director & Director- B&C on the same, supervise implementation of strategy note in order to execute the procurement process transparently & quantify organizational benefits  Negotiate commercials, delivery schedules, partners & payment terms for all mega projects in order to optimize delivery time, cost & maximize customer satisfaction  Conduct meetings with senior executives to achieve high level integrations in terms of better demand forecasting, optimal EOQ, shorter lead times, material availability, replenishment of safety stock in order to normalise different specifications from various centres and their technological preferences to ensure leveraged procurement and convergent buying  Liaise with production to identify requirement and then with vendors to ensure material delivery circumference by custom and excise duty, state and local taxes, micro-management of logistics, payments in order to ensure smooth production and statutory and regulatory compliance.
