Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead a $1015M portfolio in the Banking & Financial Services domain, with a strong focus on Data & AI-driven transformation. This role demands a strategic leader with deep expertise in management consulting, delivery leadership, client success, and presales solutioning.
As the portfolio leader, you will oversee large-scale delivery programs, manage P&L accountability, and serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives at leading BFSI institutions. This is a unique opportunity for a senior leader to drive digital transformation, accelerate innovation, and shape the next generation of data-driven banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Portfolio Leadership:
- Lead and manage a $1015M portfolio, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery across multiple BFSI client engagements.
- Oversee end-to-end program governance, including delivery assurance, risk management, compliance, and escalations.
- Continuously refine delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Hybrid) to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary executive sponsor for senior client stakeholders, including C-suite leaders.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships, ensuring alignment between client vision and delivered outcomes.
- Conduct executive business reviews, driving client satisfaction, account retention, and long-term value creation.
Consulting & Transformation:
- Provide strategic advisory services on digital transformation, regulatory compliance, credit risk management, and AI adoption.
- Lead business process optimization, change management, and solution innovation initiatives for BFSI clients.
- Serve as a thought leader on Data, AI, Cloud, and Digital Banking transformation.
Sales, Presales & Business Growth:
- Partner with sales teams on account expansion, presales solutioning, and RFP leadership.
- Develop winning proposals and executive presentations, highlighting value propositions aligned with BFSI client priorities.
- Drive up-sell and cross-sell strategies, growing accounts beyond current scope.
P&L and Financial Governance:
- Own financial performance of a $1015M+ portfolio, ensuring revenue growth, margin optimization, and profitability.
- Track budget utilization, cost controls, and financial forecasting.
- Deliver consistent YoY growth through operational excellence and strategic account expansion.
Team Leadership & People Development:
- Lead and inspire large cross-functional teams of project managers, architects, consultants, and domain SMEs.
- Mentor next-generation leaders and foster a high-performance culture.
- Enable workforce planning, skills transformation, and succession planning to meet evolving client needs.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Embed Data & AI-driven solutions into client delivery and transformation journeys.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and digital-first practices across engagements.
- Champion a culture of innovation, continuous service improvement, and regulatory compliance in BFSI delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or related field; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 18+ years in IT Services/Management Consulting, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale BFSI portfolios ($10M+), with a strong focus on Data & AI services.
- Demonstrated success in client leadership, delivery governance, presales, and large-team management across geographies.
- Experience in digital banking, regulatory compliance, AI/ML-driven credit and risk solutions is highly desirable.
