About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst with 5+ years of industry experience in the P&C insurance domain and hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.

The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders (underwriters, claims adjusters, billing teams) to gather and analyze requirements.

- Perform gap analysis between business needs and Guidewire out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionalities.

- Document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.

- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented.

- Support integration design discussions (CRM, payment gateways, rating engines, third-party services).

- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating results, and managing defects.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives.

- Conduct end-user training and provide post-production support.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5 years of IT / Insurance industry experience, with at least 34 years as a Guidewire Business Analyst.

- Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance processes policy lifecycle, claims management, billing & payments.

- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter.

- Familiarity with Guidewire Data Model, Product Model, and Integration Layer.

- Strong expertise in requirement gathering, documentation, and user story creation.

- Experience in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.

- Good understanding of SQL queries for data validation.

- Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Postman.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Guidewire certification (PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter BA or Specialist).

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud implementations.

- Experience working with global clients in insurance domain transformation projects
