We operate at the intersection of fashion, sustainability, and smart consumption, serving grooms, professionals, and event-goers across Tier 1 cities. We are now at a stage where marketing is not support - it is the growth engine.

The Opportunity:

- We are looking for a Head of Marketing to own, lead, and scale the entire marketing function at CandidMen.

This role is for someone who:

- Thinks in business outcomes, not just campaigns

- Can build brand + demand + performance in one cohesive system

- Has the ability to build and lead a high-performing marketing team

- Understands how fashion, content, performance, and consumer psychology come together to drive revenue

- You will work directly with the Founder, and your success will be measured by business growth, not vanity metrics.

Your Mandate (What You Own Completely):

1. Brand & Positioning:

- Define and sharpen CandidMen's brand narrative, tone, and positioning

- Own long-term brand strategy - not just social media aesthetics

- Ensure consistency across content, ads, website, influencers, stores, and customer touchpoints

- Build CandidMen as the default brand for men's fashion rental in India

2. Demand Generation & Revenue Growth:

- Design and execute full-funnel marketing strategies (awareness - consideration - conversion - retention)

- Own customer acquisition strategy across organic, paid, influencer, partnerships, and offline

- Work closely with sales/store teams to improve walk-ins, conversions, and repeat usage

- Build predictable growth pipelines city-wise (Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, future cities)

3. Performance Marketing & ROI:

- Own performance channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, marketplace visibility)

- Drive ROAS-focused scaling, not just spend increases

- Set clear CAC, LTV, retention, and repeat benchmarks

- Ensure marketing spend directly contributes to topline and bottom-line growth

4. Content, Influencer & Community Engine:

- Build a content-first brand (Instagram, YouTube, Shorts, Reels)

- Define influencer strategy: who, why, how, and ROI

- Create scalable systems for UGC, creator partnerships, and city-level content

- Ensure content drives trust, education, and conversion - not just views

5. Team Building & Leadership:

- Build and lead the entire marketing team (social, content, performance, design, influencer, growth)

- Hire, mentor, and structure the team for scale

- Set KPIs, review performance, and create accountability

- Build processes, playbooks, and systems - not dependency on individuals

6. Data, Insights & Consumer Understanding:

- Use customer data to drive decisions: city behavior, category performance, repeat cycles

- Collaborate with ops and inventory to align marketing with demand trends

- Continuously test, learn, and optimize - campaigns, messaging, channels

Who You Are (Non-Negotiables):

- 3-5+ years of experience in marketing leadership

- Strong experience in D2C, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands

- Has built or scaled a brand where marketing directly impacted revenue

- Comfortable owning both brand and performance

- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution mindset

- Strong leadership presence - can command respect from teams and founders

- Understands Indian consumer behavior, especially urban millennials & Gen Z
