About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join our Private Banking team in Mumbai. This pivotal role will focus on driving sales through our robust banking and private wealth channels, expanding our client base, and strengthening our market presence in the region.

- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mutual fund products and the broader financial services landscape, coupled with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Generation: Proactively generate sales and acquire new clients through our established banking networks and private wealth management channels.

- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by contacting, qualifying, and following up with prospective clients.

- Client Conversion: Successfully convert prospects into valuable clients by thoroughly understanding their investment needs and effectively showcasing appropriate products from our diverse portfolio.

- Strategic Execution: Implement and execute regional distribution strategies with the primary goal of increasing product-wise market share through consistent follow-ups and client engagement initiatives.

- Market Insight: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a profound understanding of their financial objectives.

- Product Expertise: Exhibit in-depth knowledge of the mutual fund market, various product offerings, and their suitability for different client profiles.

- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to all internal compliance policies and external regulatory guidelines pertinent to the financial services industry in the region.

Educational Background:

- Graduation or Post-Graduation in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

- Possession of an AMFI certification is mandatory.

Professional Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry, with a strong preference for candidates from the Asset Management sector.

- Demonstrated expertise and comprehensive knowledge of mutual fund products.
