Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead the Collections & Recovery function for Housing Loans. The role is responsible for managing delinquent portfolios, driving recovery strategies, reducing NPAs, and ensuring effective collection practices while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the collections and recovery operations for the housing loan portfolio across locations.

- Develop and implement strategies to reduce delinquency, control NPAs, and improve recovery performance.

- Monitor bucket-wise portfolio performance and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

- Oversee legal recovery actions, including SARFAESI, arbitration, and other recovery mechanisms where applicable.

- Coordinate with branch teams, legal partners, and recovery agencies to ensure effective recovery of overdue accounts.

- Establish strong collection processes, policies, and monitoring systems.

- Track collection efficiency, roll rates, and portfolio health through regular MIS and reporting.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance standards.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the collections and recovery team to achieve performance targets.

Key Requirements:

- 10-15+ years of experience in Collections and Recovery within Housing Finance / NBFC / Banking.

- Strong understanding of housing loan products, delinquency management, and legal recovery processes.

- Proven experience in portfolio management, NPA control, and recovery strategy implementation.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
