Position: Business Analyst BFSI Mobile Applications

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the BFSI domain, specializing in mortgage banking processes and mobile application solutions. The ideal candidate will gather and translate business requirements, streamline mortgage-related workflows, and ensure the mobile app aligns with customer needs, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for mortgage-focused mobile banking applications.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to design mortgage-specific mobile features and services.

- Analyze and optimize mortgage workflows, including loan origination, credit assessment, EMI calculations, repayment tracking, foreclosure management, and related processes.

- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirement specifications.

- Ensure mobile app solutions comply with BFSI regulations, RBI guidelines, and data security standards.

- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and validation sessions focused on mortgage product offerings.

- Support UAT, coordinate defect triaging, and assist in post-production rollouts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field.

- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4+ years in BFSI mobile applications and hands-on exposure to mortgage loan systems.

- Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination systems (LOS), credit bureau integration, payment gateways, and customer onboarding in the BFSI sector.

- Familiarity with mobile app technologies, UI/UX principles, and API integrations in mortgage banking.

- Proficiency in requirement management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
