Responsibilities.
- P&L management of assigned customer account.
- Participate in setting detailed quantified objectives and developing business plan.
- Sales Forecast.
- Develop short term forecast (periodically) and long-term sales forecast.
- Identify the gap in product & service portfolio and participate in developmental work with R&D and other functions.
- CRM Usage.
- Use CRM for all daily activities.
- Gather customer insights and needs.
- Submit feedback in CRM.
- Account plan. Act as a Key Account Manager for large accounts and develop account plan.
- Perform account management duties, including (but not limited to) negotiating short term and long-term contracts, administering sales contracts and ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to, resolving and communicating of customer complaints (in coordination with Customer Service).
- Identify growth/profitability improvement opportunities (using CRM opportunity management functionality) and advance relationships with customers in order to fully capture them.
- Introduce new products and new solutions to the customers.
- Apply the pricing policy vis-a-vis the assigned accounts.
- Data collection of process parameters / refractory consumption pattern and total consumption.
Customer Relationship:
- Establish and nurture relationships with assigned customers.
- Understand customers' needs (incl.Technical), test potential ideas and solutions, and collaborate with technical service to better serve customers.
- Gather valuable information about the market and competitors from customers and convey all necessary information where appropriate.
- Ensure link and communication to other functions (marketing, technical service, customer service, R&D, operations) and collaborate with other functions on topics related to the customer when relevant.
