Responsibilities:

Skill Matrix Development:

- Design and implement a comprehensive skill matrix for shop floor employees.

- Regularly update and maintain the skill matrix to reflect current skills and training needs.

- Collaborate with production managers to identify critical skills and competencies.

Competency Mapping:

- Conduct competency mapping for all shop floor roles to identify skill gaps and development needs.

- Develop and maintain competency frameworks aligned with organizational goals.

- Use competency mapping data to inform training program development.

Internal Stakeholder Training:

- Plan and execute training programs for internal stakeholders, including shop floor supervisors and managers.

- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance internal capabilities.

- Coordinate with department heads to identify specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly.

Behavioral Training:

- Design and implement behavioral training programs to improve soft skills and workplace culture.

- Develop modules focused on communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral training programs.

Content Designing:

- Create engaging and effective training content, including e-learning manuals and job aids.

- Ensure all training content is up-to-date and aligns with current industry standards and practices.

- Utilize multimedia tools and platforms to enhance learning experiences.

Requirements:

Essential:

- A master's degree in human resource management is mandatory.

- 8-12 years of experience in learning and development, preferably 2 years within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Preferred:

- Strong understanding of skill matrix development and competency mapping.

- Knowledge of tools such as LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO, TPM etc.will be preferable.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.

- Certification in Training and Development.
