Mission:

- Lead and oversee fixed assets and IFRS 16 lease accounting for Calderys Group within the Shared Service Centre (SSC).

- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial data in line with IFRS, Group accounting policies, and internal control standards.

- Partner with regional controllers, BPO teams, and Group finance to deliver high-quality reporting, drive process improvements, and strengthen the control environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and control fixed assets accounting and IFRS 16 lease accounting for Calderys Group.

- Ensure all additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation are properly recorded and reconciled in line with IFRS and company policies.

- Oversee lease accounting processes, including new lease assessment, modification, remeasurement, and termination in accordance with IFRS 16.

- Support month-end closing activities, including preparation of journals, supporting documentation, and variance analysis.

- Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for asset and lease-related accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely resolution of reconciling items.

- Coordinate with BPO teams and regional controllers and Group to ensure data quality and adherence to the global accounting framework.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and group accounting policies.

- Collaborate in process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to assets and IFRS 16.

- Provide analytical support and reporting to management on asset base, lease portfolio, and depreciation trends.

- Maintain documentation and assist in internal and external audits as required.

- Collaborate with IT and systems teams on Oracle Fusion maintenance, testing, and enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

- Qualification (CA/MBA or equivalent) or advanced level in career.

- IFRS training/certification.

- Experience in similar role for at least 7 years.

- SAP or major ERP experience including.

- Experience managing BPO organisation in delivering Fixed Assets or Right of Use Assets.

- Good organizational skills, ability to manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met.

- Strong presentation skills.

- Problem solving and a growth and enterprise mindset.

- Continuous Improvement Experience, challenging status quo,.

- Stakeholder Management.

- Analytical Thinking, Thrive on working in a highly collaborative and diverse culture.

However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

- Excel skills at advanced level, some experience of predictive analysis.

- Experience working in Finance/Controllership or accounting areas.

- Global Process Owner experience.

- Implementation of systems and processes.
