Cadila - Finance & Accounts Professional - CA

1. Role Overview:

The Finance & Accounts professional will be responsible for managing the organizations financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with timely financial insights for decision-making with experience of working with reputed City Gas Distribution Companies.

2. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

- Generate MIS reports and variance analysis for management review.

- Support internal and statutory audits with required documentation.

Budgeting & Forecasting

- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

- Monitor budget vs. actuals and highlight deviations.

- Provide financial modelling and analytical support to department heads.

Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with external consultants for tax filings and audits.

- Maintain documentation related to regulatory compliance.

Cash & Treasury Management

- Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.

- Handle banking operations, fund transfers, and vendor payments.

- Support treasury activities such as working capital management and loan documentation.

Internal Controls

- Implement and monitor internal financial controls.

- Identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation.

3. Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliances

- Proficiency in ERP systems

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

4. Educational Qualifications:

- B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance)

- CA / CMA (Mandatory)

5. Experience:

- 15+ years depending on role

- Experienced for working with CGD (City Gas Distribution) Companies.
