CA Monk - Tax Analyst

Location: Bangalore, India.

Role Overview:

Responsible for corporate and international taxation, transfer pricing compliance, tax accounting, and coordination with global teams to ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations.

This role supports the Groups tax strategy, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides insights into global tax matters impacting the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation & local TP reports as per OECD guidelines/local regulations.

- Coordinate with global teams & advisors for transfer pricing policy implementation.

- Ensure compliance with local/global corporate tax regulations (CbCR, Master File, DTAA, TDS, Advance Tax).

- Support tax accounting, including current tax, deferred tax, and effective tax rate analysis.

- Review WHT applicability for cross-border transactions with reference to tax treaties.

- Provide support for IFRS/GAAP audits from a tax perspective.

- Contribute to tax research, advisory, structuring, and M&A-related projects.

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, international taxation, and transfer pricing principles.

Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA with 2-5 years of experience in international taxation & transfer pricing.

- Strong knowledge of corporate tax (WHT, Tax Treaty, Tax Accounting) & transfer pricing frameworks.

- Proven ability to interpret and apply tax legislation, with effective stakeholder communication.

- Self-driven professional with strong planning, organizational, and deadline-management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
