Role Overview:

We are seeking a CA-qualified professional with 57 years of experience in Statutory Audit and Accounting Advisory to independently manage client engagements, handle complex accounting matters, and lead teams.

The role involves significant exposure to Ind AS / IFRS, financial reporting, and advisory-driven assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Advisory & Technical Accounting:

- Apply Ind AS and IFRS in accounting advisory engagements.

- Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos.

- Execute Ind AS / IFRS / IGAAP engagements independently.

- Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements.

- Stay up to date with new accounting pronouncements, amendments, and interpretations.

Statutory Audit:

- Lead and execute Statutory Audit engagements across non-financial services sectors.

- Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

- Support audit closures, reporting, and management discussions.

Internal Controls & Process Exposure:

- Exposure to Internal Financial Controls over Financial Reporting (IFC-FR).

- Support accounting process reviews and improvements.

- Exposure to ERPs such as SAP / Oracle is an added advantage.

Data, Reporting & Presentation:

- Strong hands-on skills in MS Excel with ability to handle large datasets.

- Prepare client-ready presentations and insights using MS PowerPoint.

Leadership & Team Responsibilities:

- Train, coach, and mentor team members.

- Review deliverables and ensure quality and accuracy.

- Take ownership of assigned engagements and contribute to practice growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.

- 57 years of post-qualification experience.

- Strong experience in Statutory Audit and Accounting Advisory.

- Hands-on exposure to Ind AS / IFRS.

- Experience in preparation/review of financial statements, including consolidations.
