Job Title: Qualified Chartered Accountant

Job Summary:

CA Monk is seeking highly motivated and skilled Qualified Chartered Accountants with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience to join our network and connect with leading firms and organizations across India.

We are looking for professionals with proven expertise in one or more of the following domains: Audit, Taxation, Advisory, and Finance.

The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented individual with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, eager to take on challenging roles and contribute significantly to their chosen field.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit & Assurance:

- Conduct statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other special audits for clients across diverse industries.

- Perform risk assessments, develop audit plans, and execute audit procedures in compliance with auditing standards (e.g., SA, Ind AS, IFRS).

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

- Analyze financial statements, supporting documentation, and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables.

- Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to clients and senior management.

- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing pronouncements, and regulatory requirements.

Taxation:

- Prepare and review direct and indirect tax computations (e.g., Income Tax, GST) for individuals, corporates, and other entities.

- Assist in filing various tax returns accurately and within stipulated deadlines.

- Provide advisory services on tax planning, optimization strategies, and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- Represent clients before tax authorities during assessments, appeals, and other proceedings.

- Conduct tax due diligence and advise on tax implications of business transactions.

- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients' businesses.

Advisory Services:

- Provide financial and business advisory services to clients on a range of matters including:

- Financial Due Diligence: Conduct financial analysis and investigations for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

- Business Restructuring: Advise on corporate restructuring, amalgamations, and joint ventures.

- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Process Improvement: Review and recommend improvements to accounting and financial processes.

- Management Information Systems (MIS): Design and implement effective MIS for decision making.

- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and financial models to support advisory engagements.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Finance:

- Manage and oversee financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insights into financial performance.

- Assist in treasury functions, including cash management and working capital optimization.


- Support in investment appraisal, capital budgeting, and funding decisions.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies.

General Responsibilities (Applicable to all roles):

- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments.

- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and professional skills.

- Adhere to professional ethics and maintain confidentiality of client information.

- Mentor and guide junior team members as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

- Experience: 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field (Audit, Taxation, Advisory, Finance).

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles (Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS).

- Proficiency in auditing standards and practices.

- In-depth knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws.

- Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP FICO, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
