Job Title: Buy-Side Derivatives Dealer

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Buy-Side Derivatives Dealer to manage and execute derivatives strategies including arbitrage and long-short strategies for the fund management team. The role involves working closely with portfolio managers to implement trading strategies efficiently in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute equity and derivatives trades for portfolio managers in line with investment strategies.

- Implement buy-side arbitrage and long-short trading strategies across cash and derivatives markets.

- Monitor market movements, liquidity, and price spreads to identify arbitrage opportunities.

- Ensure efficient trade execution with minimal market impact.

- Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and internal operations teams for smooth trade settlement.

- Track positions, exposures, and risk limits related to derivatives trades.

- Maintain trade records, compliance documentation, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide market colour and execution insights to the investment team.

Candidate Requirements:

- Experience as a Buy-Side Dealer / Derivatives Dealer within an AMC, hedge fund, PMS, or institutional desk.

- Strong understanding of equity derivatives, arbitrage strategies, and long-short strategies.

- Familiarity with cash-futures arbitrage and derivatives trading mechanisms.

- Ability to execute large trades with strong broker relationships.

- Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance in trading activities.

Preferred Background:

- Prior experience in buy-side trading environments such as AMCs, hedge funds, or proprietary desks.

- Strong market understanding and ability to respond quickly to changing market conditions.
