Key Responsibilities:

- Build and lead the Educational Projects vertical, defining its growth strategy, market focus, and annual business objectives.

- Own the vertical's P&L, including revenue, margins, budgets, forecasts, and profitability.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across schools, colleges, universities, edtech campuses, and institutional infrastructure.

- Build relationships with trustees, promoters, administrators, principals, architects, consultants, and other senior education-sector stakeholders.

- Lead proposals, client presentations, commercial negotiations, and project closures.

- Oversee the delivery of multiple projects across India, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality, safety, and statutory requirements.

- Establish project governance, review mechanisms, risk controls, and escalation processes across the portfolio.

- Lead and develop a Pan-India team of Project Managers, Site Heads, Design Coordinators, and Business Development professionals.

- Define leadership KPIs, resource requirements, and capability-building initiatives for the vertical.

- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Finance, HR, and other functions to ensure effective project and business operations.

- Monitor client satisfaction and drive repeat business, referrals, and long-term institutional relationships.

- Present business performance, project progress, and key risks to the CEO.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in project execution, construction, interior fit-outs, infrastructure, or business leadership.

- Substantial experience delivering projects for schools, colleges, universities, edtech campuses, or other educational institutions.

- Proven experience managing a business vertical or large project portfolio with P&L ownership.

- Strong understanding of construction-interior fit-out project lifecycles, quality standards, safety, and statutory compliance.

- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and projects across India.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Strong business acumen with a combination of strategic planning and execution capability.

- Excellent senior-level communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
