The Opportunity

This is a director-level role with complete ownership of the North India business unit. You will be the "growth engine" for the region, tasked with defining the strategic direction, managing a large-scale P&L, and leading all commercial and operational activities to achieve market dominance.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Deliverables:

- P&L & Revenue Ownership: Own the complete Profit & Loss (P&L) for the North India business unit. Drive and sustain aggressive revenue growth and market share expansion across all diagnostics services and product lines.

- Strategic Expansion: Define and execute the regional expansion strategy, including identifying, leading, and finalizing strategic mergers, acquisitions, and major tie-ups to expand the company's footprint and service offerings.

- Market Penetration: Explore and develop new business channels, partnerships, and market segments to boost brand visibility and penetration across urban and semi-urban areas.

- Leadership & Team Management: Serve as a strong people leader, managing large, multi-layered sales, operations, and technical teams. Ensure team alignment, motivation, and high performance across the territory.

- Commercial Excellence: Oversee sales targets, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure optimal resource utilization to drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Ideal Profile & Qualifications:

- Experience (Mandatory): 15-20+ years of progressive experience in senior commercial or business leadership roles within the Diagnostics, Pharma, or broader Healthcare industry.

- Leadership Track Record: Proven experience in multi-layer team management and leading large, complex commercial organizations.

- Domain Expertise: Must possess a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, diagnostic services, and regional market nuances in North India.

- Mindset: An excellent communicator with a palpable passion to win in the market, demonstrating strategic foresight and hands-on execution capability.

- Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree is preferred (Life Sciences background is highly advantageous).

- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the Northern region to manage teams and key accounts.
