Job Opportunity: BU Head - Gastro / Multispeciality / Diabetic | Pharma Business

Location: Mumbai

Specialization: Gastro, Multispeciality & Diabetic Portfolio

- We are seeking a highly accomplished Business Unit Head with strong expertise in Pharma Sales & Marketing, specifically within Gastro, Multispeciality, or Diabetic therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of driving business growth, team performance, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales and business strategies to achieve revenue targets and ensure BU profitability.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and energize a high-performing sales team; drive performance improvements across regions.

- Sales Excellence: Deliver strong primary and secondary sales results and ensure consistent market share growth.

- Campaign & KOL Management: Oversee marketing campaigns, scientific initiatives, and KOL engagement activities.

- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business objectives.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain, and other commercial teams for seamless execution.

- Growth Delivery: Support organizational growth targets through strategic business planning and execution.

- Travel: Extensive travel required for business and team management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 17+ years of pharmaceutical Sales/Marketing leadership experience.

- Strong experience in Specialty & Multispeciality Sales, preferably at a BU Head / Head Sales level.

- Proven history of consistent high performance and successful product/portfolio launches in competitive markets.

- Demonstrated capability to lead, inspire, and develop teams.

- Strong skills in strategic planning, analytics, decision-making, and problem-solving.

- Cross-functional exposure across commercial teams preferred.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
