The Opportunity
We are on a mission to build the country's most elite sales engine, comprised of the top 1% of sales talent. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to spearhead our Employee Benefits division. Your Mission
To own and drive the entire revenue engine for our Mid-Market and Enterprise segments. You will be responsible for building, coaching, and leading a high-performing team to capture market share and establish our company as the premier partner for employee benefits solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Leadership: Take full ownership of the sales cycle and revenue generation for mid-market (50L-3Cr premium) and enterprise (3-50Cr premium) client segments.
- Strategic Execution: Personally close key target accounts each month while guiding your team to exceed collective targets.
- Team Building & Management: Grow, mentor, and lead a vertical of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs).
- Sales Excellence: Continuously coach your team on effective sales strategies, from prospecting to closing, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Process & Tooling: Design and implement scalable sales processes, ensuring your team maximizes the use of CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between Sales, Marketing, Product, Placement, and Revenue Operations to align strategies and drive growth.
- Market Presence: Be the external face of our company's mid-market and enterprise offerings, building our brand in the market.
Who You Are
The Essentials:
- A seasoned professional with 10-15 years in the insurance broking industry, including at least 5 years in a sales leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in closing large-scale Employee Benefits deals, with a track record of securing multiple accounts in the 5-20 crore premium range.
- A consistent top-performer, with a history of exceeding annual revenue targets by 80% or more.
- An experienced manager who has built and led successful sales teams of 10-20 people.
- Possesses deep, established relationships with key decision-makers at both private and public sector insurers.
- Well-versed in leveraging modern sales methodologies, CRMs, and sales analytics.
The Desirables:
- Experience in non-EB insurance lines (e.g., Liability, Property) to drive cross-selling opportunities is a strong advantage.
