Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Process Reengineering/ Consultant who can work closely with business teams to understand real-world operations, map current workflows, and help design improved, standardized processes.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of how processes actually run on the ground.

This role focuses on process discovery, process optimization, and cross-functional alignment, while working with product and operations teams to ensure processes are scalable and easy to execute. The ability to convert business needs into clear documentation and actionable steps is critical.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Discovery & Documentation:

- Engage with business users to understand the current (AS-IS) process and operational challenges.

- Map detailed workflows including inputs, outputs, dependencies, stakeholders, and decision points.

- Identify inefficiencies, variations, and failure modes in existing processes.

2. Process Optimization & Standardization:

- Recommend simplified, standardized workflows aligned with business goals.

- Identify steps that can be eliminated, automated, or redesigned for efficiency.

- Work with business teams to validate TO-BE processes through pilots or quick wins.

- Support creation/update of SOPs, checklists, and process documentation.

3. Business Requirements & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Translate business needs into structured process requirements and user needs.

- Work with product managers (where applicable) to align on feasible enhancements.

- Create business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, and process specifications (non-technical).

- Support implementation by coordinating with operations, training teams, and change management stakeholders.

- Participate in UAT and ensure delivered changes align with the defined TO-BE process.

4. Continuous Improvement:

- Track process performance through KPIs, user feedback, and operational inputs.

- Recommend further refinements to drive scalability, standardization, and ease of execution.

- Contribute to building a process-first culture across teams.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education: MBA from Top-B School (Mandatory)

Experience: 2 to 5 years in process excellence, business process reengineering/consulting, IT projects, operations improvement, or business analysis Process.

Soft Skills: Strong in process mapping, SOP creation, workflow analysis, value stream thinking excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with documentation & project tracking tools, excellent communication, analytical ability, structured thinking, and stakeholder management.
