Business Manager - Lending & Strategy Operations - BFS

We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Business Manager with proven experience in lending or financial services to lead strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth. The role will serve as a critical link between senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure business objectives are met effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Support leadership in crafting and executing growth strategies for the lending portfolio

- Analyze internal KPIs, market trends, and competitor data to identify new opportunities

- Manage day-to-day lending operations ensuring smooth workflow and regulatory compliance

- Identify bottlenecks and lead initiatives to optimize processes and improve turnaround times

- Monitor key metrics including loan portfolio health, cost per acquisition, and revenue performance

- Prepare and present dashboards, business performance reports, and risk assessments for senior leadership

- Lead cross-functional projects such as digital transformation, new product rollouts, and market expansion

- Track progress and ensure delivery within defined timelines and budgets

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, credit, risk, and tech teams to drive alignment and execution

- Manage partnerships with vendors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in business management, operations, or strategy within NBFCs, fintech, or lending environments.

- Strong understanding of consumer or commercial lending, credit underwriting, and loan lifecycle.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

- Prior experience in managing high-impact projects and process automation.

- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as KYC, AML, and RBI standards.
