Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Identify and target potential clients within key industries, including [GCCs across ISVs, BFSI, Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing].
- Identify and focus on the new GCCs getting setup in India
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and qualification.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to offer tailored technology solutions that meet client requirements.
- Drive sales from initial contact to closing, including contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Once a logo is closed, continue with managing the account till critical mass is attained in the account. Post that Account Manager will take over.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Market Research & Insights:
- Laser sharp focus on the developments taking place within GCCs
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and industry developments to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Analyze competitor offerings and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at relevant technology conferences and exhibitions/events to promote solution/services and company
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with internal teams such as technical experts, marketing, and customer support to ensure a seamless sales process.
- Collaborate with other sales teams to share best practices, strategies, and insights.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and progress in CRM systems.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline management
Desired Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree / Masters Degree in Finance / Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration, with minimum 10 years of technology-related sales
- Proven experience in frontline sales within the technology services industry (IT, cloud, data, software, etc.)
- Experience in Selling to Site Leaders, Centre Heads, Functional Heads within GCCs across both business & IT & proven ability to sell software services, application development, analytics & cloud services / solutions and sound understanding of computing, programming and software engineering
- Technology Services & Solution selling experience within GCC segment including good understanding of Bangalore, Chennai markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) and other sales tools.
- Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions-based sales approach
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
