Business Lead - UPI

We are looking for a dynamic and driven professional to own and manage the UPI & BBPS business P&L. This role requires deep expertise in digital payments, strong commercial acumen, and proven ability to collaborate with product, technology, and external partners to deliver growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- P&L Ownership: Drive revenue, cost optimization, and profitability for UPI & BBPS businesses.

- Business Strategy: Define and execute the growth roadmap across customer acquisition, transaction growth, retention, and monetization.

- Ecosystem Management: Work closely with NPCI, banking partners, BBPS operators, billers, merchants, and other ecosystem players to drive adoption and innovation.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, technology, risk, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

- Regulatory Alignment: Stay updated on RBI/NPCI regulations and ensure business processes are fully compliant.

- Analytics & Insights: Track KPIs, customer journeys, funnel performance, and transaction data to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.

- Innovation: Work with product and tech teams to launch new features, optimize customer experience, and deliver differentiated payment solutions.

You Are

- From a reputed B-School / Engineering Institute with strong academic credentials.

- Highly analytical, data-driven, and commercially savvy.

- Experienced (8-10 years) in digital payments, UPI, BBPS, or allied fintech domains.

- Proven in managing P&L, business strategy, and partnerships in a high-growth environment.

- Skilled in building and managing relationships with banks, NPCI, regulators, and payment ecosystem players.

- A strong communicator with the ability to influence decision-makers and drive outcomes.

- Passionate about fintech, digital payments, and the evolving financial services landscape in India.
