Role Purpose
The Business Lead Corporate Interior Fit-Out is responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and strategic leadership of the corporate interior fit-out portfolio. The role oversees end-to-end business operations, including stakeholder management, P&L ownership, portfolio performance, client acquisition, and team leadership, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Growth
- Identify, pursue, and secure corporate interior fit-out projects across commercial offices, MNCs, embassies, and institutional clients
- Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and conversion strategy
- Lead bid management, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization
- Expand strategic partnerships with clients, consultants, architects, and PMCs
2. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
- Manage relationships with:
- Clients & end users
- Architects, consultants, and project managers
- Vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Internal teams (design, procurement, projects, finance)
- Ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals
- Handle escalations and resolve conflicts professionally
3. P&L Management
- Own and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the corporate interior fit-out business
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans
- Monitor revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, and working capital
- Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives
- Ensure financial discipline and compliance with company policies
4. Portfolio Management
- Oversee a portfolio of multiple fit-out projects simultaneously
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Review project performance, risks, and profitability regularly
- Implement best practices for project governance and reporting
- Balance resources effectively across the portfolio
5. Business Operations & Management
- Establish and improve processes, systems, and controls across the business unit
- Ensure alignment between sales, design, procurement, and execution teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Drive compliance with HSE, quality, and contractual standards
- Support digital tools and MIS for better decision-making
6. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence
- Support talent acquisition and succession planning
- Inspire teams to deliver business goals and client satisfaction

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering,, Construction Management, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 12 to 18+ years of experience in corporate interior fit-out / construction / real estate
- Minimum 58 years in a senior leadership role managing business units or large portfolios
- Proven track record of revenue growth and profitability
