About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-driven professional to develop business intelligence solutions, automate reporting processes, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role requires expertise in Power BI, SAP data extraction, Power Automate workflows, advanced Excel, and business analytics. The candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and delivering automated dashboards and reports to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for Sales Management.

- Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, reports, and visualizations.

- Develop data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and drill-through analytical reports.

- Ensure dashboard accuracy, performance optimization, and user-friendly design.

Data Integration & Analytics:

- Extract, transform, and analyze data from SAP, Tableau, databases, Excel files, and other enterprise systems.

- Build automated data pipelines for integrating data from multiple sources into Power BI.

- Perform data validation, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation activities.

- Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable business insights.

Process Automation:

- Design and implement Power Automate workflows for end-to-end report automation.

- Automate data extraction from SAP/Tableau and other business applications.

- Automate Excel-based data processing, including execution of VBA macros where required.

- Develop automated report distribution mechanisms through email and other communication channels.

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Advanced Analytics & Development:

- Use analytical and statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.

- Support predictive and descriptive analytics initiatives.

- Develop scripts/programs to automate repetitive tasks and improve reporting efficiency.

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and develop scalable solutions.

Stakeholder Management:

- Interact with business users to understand reporting and analytical needs.

- Convert business requirements into technical solutions and dashboards.

- Provide training and support to end users on dashboards and automated solutions.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

- Power BI (Advanced): Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, Dashboard Development, Performance Optimization.

- Microsoft Power Automate: Workflow Automation, Approval Flows, Automated Reporting, Email Automation, Integration with SAP, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.

- SAP: Data Extraction and Reporting, Understanding of SAP Tables and Business Processes.

- Advanced Excel: Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA Macros, Complex Formulas, Data Transformation.

- Tableau: Data Extraction and Integration, Understanding of Tableau Data Structures.

- Programming Languages (Preferred): Python, SQL, R (Optional), VBA.

Analytical Skills:

- Strong business analysis and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.

- Strong understanding of KPIs, business performance measurement, and reporting.

Educational Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science, IT, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering) OR MBA (Analytics, Operations, Finance, Marketing) OR Equivalent qualification with relevant BI/Analytics experience.

Experience:

- 3-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting Automation, Data Analytics, or related roles.

- Experience in manufacturing, steel, industrial, or large enterprise environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft Power BI Certification.

- Power Platform Certification.

- SAP Analytics/Reporting experience.

- Experience with AI/ML-based analytics and automation.

- Exposure to Azure Data Services, Data Warehousing, and ETL tools.
