Role Purpose :
The Business HR will act as a strategic HR partner to manufacturing and business leaders, driving people initiatives that support operational excellence, workforce capability development, productivity enhancement, and organizational transformation. The role will work closely with plant and functional leadership teams to enable business performance through effective talent management, employee engagement, organization development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
The incumbent will play a critical role in supporting modern manufacturing practices, digital transformation initiatives, and Industry 4.0 adoption by ensuring organizational readiness, capability building, and workforce alignment.
Business HR | Leading Textile & Apparel Manufacturing Organization
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Business Partnering : - Partner with business and manufacturing leaders to align HR strategies with organizational and operational objectives.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support business growth, productivity improvement, and workforce effectiveness.
- Support leadership teams in organization design, manpower planning, and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters.
Talent Management & Capability Development : - Drive talent review, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Identify capability gaps and support development interventions aligned with future business requirements.
- Facilitate workforce readiness for evolving manufacturing technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to implement capability-building programs.
Employee Relations & Workforce Engagement : - Build strong employee connect across manufacturing and business functions.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and action planning based on feedback mechanisms.
- Partner with stakeholders to maintain a positive employee relations climate.
- Address employee concerns and support conflict resolution in collaboration with business leaders.
Performance Management : - Drive performance management processes & ensure effective implementation across assigned business units.
- Coach managers on performance conversations, goal setting, and development planning.
- Monitor performance trends and provide actionable insights.
Organizational Development & Change Management : - Support organization transformation, restructuring, and culture-building initiatives.
- Drive change management interventions associated with business growth, operational improvements, and technology adoption.
- Facilitate communication and stakeholder alignment during transformation programs.
Manufacturing & Digital Transformation Support : - Partner with manufacturing leadership teams on workforce planning and people implications of smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Support adoption of Industry 4.0 practices through capability development, change management, and employee engagement programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workforce effectiveness in digitally enabled manufacturing environments.
- Monitor organizational readiness and support implementation of future workforce strategies.
HR Operations & Governance : - Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and organizational guidelines.
- Support HR analytics and reporting for informed decision-making.
- Drive HR process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment regulations.

Educational Qualification : - Full-time MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
Experience : - 3 - 6 years of relevant HR Business Partnering experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, textile, apparel, FMCG, automotive, or similar operational environments.
- Exposure to plant-based HR operations and manufacturing workforce management.
- Experience supporting business transformation, digitalization, or organizational change initiatives.
- Good understanding of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 concepts.
