Role Overview:
The Business Head / CEO will be responsible for driving sales, partnerships, and growth, while ensuring that Company establishes itself as the leader in the EWA segment.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong experience in fintech growth strategy, partnerships, and B2B enterprise sales.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of scaling fintech products, managing teams, and delivering business outcomes in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Growth Strategy & Execution:
- Define and execute Company go-to-market strategy for employer partnerships.
- Build and lead a sales-driven culture, targeting high-volume employers (manufacturing, staffing, logistics, retail, etc.).
- Identify new revenue streams through partnerships, embedded finance, and digital lending synergies.
- Drive the company from pilot to scale, ensuring consistent monthly growth in users and transactions.
2. Business Development & Partnerships:
- Lead enterprise partnerships with employers.
- Negotiate and close large contracts ensuring profitability and compliance.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with HR and finance heads of client organizations.
3. Product & Market Expansion:
- Work closely with tech and product teams to align product features with customer needs and market trends.
- Identify regional expansion opportunities and strategic distribution channels.
- Lead pilots for new features.
4. Financial & Performance Management:
- Own the company P&L and ensure profitable unit economics.
- Establish clear metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion rate, churn) and track performance.
- Drive operational efficiency and alignment between sales, finance, and compliance teams.
5. Leadership & Team Building:
- Lead a high-performing team focused on growth, customer success, and innovation.
- Coach and mentor mid-level leaders to take on higher responsibilities.
- Create a culture of accountability, transparency, and execution excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years in fintech or financial services leadership.
- Experience in Earned Wage Access, Digital Lending, Payroll Tech, or HRMS-integrated fintech strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of sales-led growth, scaling user base and revenue.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, and digital lending guidelines.
- Exposure to automation, and digital process transformation in financial products is desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
