Role: Business Head - Two Wheeler Lending
Location: Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities:
As the Business Head of our Two-Wheeler Lending division, you will be responsible for steering the strategic direction and execution of all sales-related functions. Your role will focus on optimizing costs, strengthening channel partnerships, and enhancing financial outcomes. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Drive initiatives to optimize operational expenses while maintaining service excellence and market competitiveness. Continuously identify and implement cost-saving measures across the sales function.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with dealers and distributors. Ensure alignment of objectives, offer consistent support, and deliver a seamless customer experience through effective partnership management.
- Oversee financial performance, with a sharp focus on the Profit & Loss statement. Conduct daily reviews and analyses to support data-driven decisions. Develop and execute strategies aimed at improving the organization's net Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
- Lead the management and strategic growth of the lending portfolio. Monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring portfolio health through dynamic lending strategies that balance growth with profitability.
- Design and implement cross-sell initiatives to maximize value from the existing customer base. Work cross-functionally to uncover and develop opportunities for offering additional financial products and services.
- Guide and inspire the sales team to achieve peak performance. Set clear objectives, provide coaching and support, and cultivate a results-oriented culture that drives both individual and team success.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Introduce best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of sales and customer service.
Requirement:
- Demonstrable track record in leadership roles within financial services-ideally within the two- wheeler lending segment.
- Strong financial competence, with the ability to analyze and act on data to enhance profitability and net returns.
- Outstanding aptitude for building and nurturing strategic partnerships with dealers, distributors, and other channel stakeholders.
- Solid experience managing loan portfolios, performing risk assessments, and executing strategies to foster balanced portfolio growth.
- Effectiveness in leading, coaching, and inspiring teams to consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales objectives.
- Skilled at interpreting market trends and designing flexible sales strategies that align with evolving opportunities and challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
As the Sales Business Head, you will be instrumental in driving our Two- Wheeler Lending division's sustained growth, profitability, and emergence as a market leader.
