About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Business Head who can independently manage and drive the complete operations of our textile processing plant. The ideal candidate must have extensive expertise in dyeing, finishing, knitting, utilities, production planning, quality, and end-to-end plant performance.

The Business Head will be responsible for ensuring high productivity, consistent quality, efficient cost control, and smooth coordination across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations & Production Management

- Lead and manage the overall processing operations including yarn dyeing, fabric dyeing, knitting, and finishing.

- Ensure optimal utilization of machines, manpower, and resources.

- Oversee smooth daily production to meet delivery commitments with zero delays.

- Monitor RFT (Right First Time), productivity, quality benchmarks, and machine efficiency.

- Implement best practices for dyeing, finishing, and utility optimization.

2. Technical Expertise

- Strong working knowledge of dyeing, finishing, and knitting processes to ensure required RFT and product quality.

- Deep understanding of all machine operations, including dyeing machines, finishing machines, utilities, stenters, compactors, dryers, etc.

- Capability to troubleshoot technical issues and correct process deviations.

- Ability to maintain stable shade consistency, reduce reprocessing, and handle complex blends.

3. MIS, Data Analysis & Profitability

- Manage MIS systems to track daily, weekly, and monthly performance.

- Analyse operational data to improve cost efficiency and productivity.

- Monitor wastage, chemical consumption, water usage, energy utilization, and ensure reductions through systematic improvements.

- Drive EBITDA performance with strong cost-control measures.

4. Market & Business Development Support

- Maintain and leverage strong connections with corporate clients, export houses, and major brands.

- Support the marketing team with technical presentations, buyer nominations, and quality assurance confidence building.

- Assist in securing new orders through technical expertise and relationship management.

5. Process Sustainability & Quality Systems

- Maintain high quality standards across yarn and fabric processing.

- Ensure all compliance norms, testing protocols, and quality systems are followed.

- Introduce innovative techniques for faster lead times, reduced rework, and sustainable processing.

6. Leadership & Team Development

- Lead large teams across production, quality, maintenance, and planning.

- Build capability through training, skill enhancement, and structured technical workshops.

- Create a cohesive and performance-driven work culture.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- B.Tech / B.Sc in Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology or equivalent.

- Minimum 25+ years of experience in large dyeing/processing units.

- Experience in managing production plants of 1020 tons/day or above.

- Strong technical expertise in yarn dyeing, fabric dyeing, finishing, and knitting operations.

- Proven track record in operational leadership and profit-centre management.

- Experience in handling big corporate processing houses or large dyeing units.
