Role Overview:

Own and scale the specialized yarns business (aramid/Kevlar-class, UHMWPE, carbon fibre, advanced filaments) across industrial, defence, and aerospace segments. Full P&L ownership, end-to-end commercialization, and leadership of sales, sourcing, and operations to deliver profitable, global growth.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L & Strategy: Define AOP, pricing, margin mix, and market entry; deliver revenue, EBITDA, and cash objectives.

Growth & GTM: Build and execute global GTM by segment (PPE, composites, ballistic, ropes/cordage, filtration); develop key accounts and channel partners.

Commercialization: Lead trials, qualifications, and scale-up with R&D/plant; convert opportunities into repeat programs.

Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain: Secure multi-source supply, negotiate contracts, manage OTIF, inventory turns, and quality adherence.

Team & Governance: Build a high-performance team; institute CRM, forecast cadence, and review mechanisms; drive compliance and risk management.

Stakeholder Leadership: Partner with manufacturing, QA, finance, and legal on contracts, certifications, and export controls as applicable.

Voice of Customer: Translate technical needs into portfolio roadmap and spec improvements.

Ideal Profile:

- 15+ years in specialty yarns/technical fibres with 5+ years leading a P&L or region.

- Deep product and application knowledge across aramid/UHMWPE/carbon fibre and adjacent advanced materials.

- Proven track record in enterprise/defence/aerospace accounts, long qualification cycles, and solution selling.

- Strong sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply-chain acumen; hands-on with forecasting and pricing.

- Degree in Textiles/Polymer/Materials/Chemical Engineering; MBA preferred.

- Comfortable with frequent domestic/international travel and C-suite engagement.

Success Metrics (12-18 months):

- Revenue and EBITDA growth with improved gross margin and working capital turns.

- New market entries and qualified programs converted to recurring business.

- OTIF - agreed SLA, reduced supply risk, and robust governance cadence.
