Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-impact leader to build and scale the Small Ticket Business Loan vertical from the ground up for one of our NBFC client.

This is a high ROI product line, and the ideal candidate will bring deep domain experience in this segment along with a proven ability to build, lead, and execute in a high-growth, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Setup: Define and drive the go-to-market strategy, including distribution, product design, pricing, and lending parameters.

- Distribution Strategy: Build a scalable, cost-effective distribution model - both direct and partnership-driven.

- Product Ownership: Design lending features tailored to the needs of small business borrowers, ensuring profitability and product-market fit.

- Team Building: Recruit and lead a high-performing team across sales, credit, and support functions.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with risk, legal, compliance, operations, and technology teams to build robust, scalable processes.

- Stakeholder Management: Engage regularly with senior leadership and board-level stakeholders to align on growth plans, performance metrics, and risk appetite.

- Compliance & Governance: Maintain strong process discipline, audit-readiness, and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Requirements:

- Deep understanding of the small ticket business loan segment, including customer profiles, underwriting challenges, and risk dynamics.

- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth and profitability in a lending business.
