Brief Description About ECL:

Our Client is one of India's leading manufacturers of Ductile Iron (DI) Pipes Fittings, Rubber Products serving the water infrastructure sector for over 70 years. The company has an annual turnover of approximately 7,300 crore (FY 2024-25) and is the largest DI pipe manufacturer in the Indian subcontinent with plants at Khardah, Bansberia, Haldia (West Bengal), Elavur (Tamil Nadu), and Srikalahasti & Punganur (Andhra Pradesh).

ECL is manufacturing Rubber products at its plant in Punganur Town near Tirupati and Bengaluru.

Job / Role Purpose:

Responsible for managing Rubber Products Business of the company in accordance with annual/short-term/long-term business plans and achieving the annual revenue and profit targets. The role holder will lead the business development and marketing efforts and increase the customer base. Responsible for relationship management with existing customers, growth in profitability and formulation of pricing policy strategy. Also responsible for managing Plant Operations, Product Development, Corporate Affairs, CSR and local community relations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business and marketing trends/ industry trends/ competitor position and accordingly formulate business strategy and pricing strategy along with internal stake holders.

- Prepare annual Capex and Opex budgets and get approval from the management. Set annual targets for market share, product volumes, revenues & EBITDA and achieve the same.

- Review monthly plant MIS - Operating expenses, EBITDA, Operations performance, Safety performance and ensure timely corrective actions.

- Manage Rubber Plant operations.

- Drive new product development for Pipe, Automobile, Railway and any other customers.

- Ensure product quality as per customer specifications.

- Build and maintain relationship with major current and potential customers. Ensure increase in revenue from existing and new customers and markets.

- Receive feedback from customers & ensure that customer complaints/suggestions are addressed in a timely manner.

- Ensure effective liaisioning with important stakeholders like Revenue, Police, Railways and relevant State and Central Govt authorities.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Tech/MBA/CA from a reputed institution.

Experience: 15-20 years of relevant experience in Rubber and Polymers industry.
