Job Description:
The Business Head - EV Retail will be responsible for leading and scaling the company's EV retail business. This role will drive retail sales performance, store expansion, channel sales development, and end-to-end operations. The incumbent will define and execute growth strategies, ensure operational excellence, and build strong sales channels to establish market leadership in the EV segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall retail business strategy aligned with company objectives
- Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across regions
- Lead retail sales operations across company-owned and franchise stores
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of revenue goals
- Develop pricing, promotions, and customer acquisition strategies
- Plan and execute store opening strategies including site selection and feasibility analysis
- Oversee launch of new retail outlets and ensure timely execution
- Develop and manage dealer, distributor, and partner sales channels
- Establish channel policies, incentive programs, and performance metrics
- Oversee end-to-end retail operations including inventory, logistics, and service coordination
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all retail and channel touchpoints
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12-18 years of experience in automotive / EV / retail sales
- Strong understanding of EV market, automotive retail, and consumer sales
- Proven experience in retail expansion and channel sales management
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven decision-making and financial acumen
